2025 Spring Half Term Booster Sessions
Our next Online Booster Sessions will take place during the Spring Half Term, February 16th - February 23rd 2025, to help students prepare for the upcoming February Mock Exams for English GCSE. You can read more about our Booster Sessions here
We run Booster Sessions here to increase your child's knowledge and skills in the run up to the 2nd set of 'Mocks', boosting their confidence for the final few months of study before the exams.
The Spring Half Term Booster Sessions take place over a 7 day period, and cover the seven most popular subject areas.

Creative Writing & Analysis
Sunday 16th February, 10am - 12noon
This Booster Session covers the Creative writing portion of the GCSE English Language Paper 1 Exam, equipping students with all the knowledge they'll need to analyse fiction texts and write creatively.

Sunday 16th February, 1pm - 3pm
This Booster Session covers the play 'Macbeth' for the GCSE English Literature Exam, equipping students with all the knowledge and exam techniques they'll need to cover this classic.

Transactional Writing & Analysis
Monday 17th February, 10am - 12noon
This Booster Session covers the Transactional Writing portion of the GCSE English Language Paper 2 Exam, equipping students with all the knowledge they'll need to analyse non fiction texts and write within a transactional genre.

Poetry Comparison Skills - AQA
Tuesday 18th February, 10am - 12noon
This Booster Session covers Seen Poetry questions for students studying for AQA papers. This Booster covers how to select poems for comparison, and how to write essays that compare structure, language and core meaning comparisons.
